A lot of people are down on having business tracks at WordCamps, but I think that is a huge aspect that is ignored if you want to be an entrepreneur or even just freelance. Telling the story of why you are better than the 20 million other people who can do the same technical job is vital.
Developer purists are probably happy that there are more Business Camps that are completely decoupled from the regular WordCamps, because they see marketing as a necessary evil, not an integral part of growing their business. But what then is visual design if not a subtle and targeted form of storytelling and marketing?

Lots of good stuff to think about.
